Storage must be in accordance with national regulations, tightly closed in container in a dry, cool and well-ventilated space, keep away from sources of heat and ignition. Too high temperature will shorten the shelf life or even gel in the tank. The above shelf life is the shortest time, and must be tested to determine if it can continue to be used when storage time is beyond the shelf life.
All surfaces to be coated should be clean, dry and free from chalking and contamination. Adhesion will be negatively influenced if film is exposed outside for long time and causes smooth or contaminated surface. Film must be roughened, sweep blasted or treated by high pressure water jetting to achieve required adhesion.
High pressure fresh water wash and remove all oil / grease, soluble contaminants and other foreign matters.
Take precautions to avoid skin and eye contact (i.e. gloves, goggles, face masks, barrier creams etc.) Proper ventilation and protective measures must be provided during applications and drying period to keep solvent vapour concentrations within safe limits.
